cloudy water

I recently changed the gravel substrate to sand and the water does'nt seem to be as clear as when I used gravel. I washed the new sand and cleaned out the canister filters but I can't get the water as clear as I want it to be. Any suggestions to what I can do?

What kind of sand did you use?

Keep an eye on your water params. You probably disturbed your BB when you cleaned the canisters and removed the gravel.

Hopefully it will clear up in a week or so.

I used siliac sand, washed it very thoughly
