anybody watch it? anybody know what the monster is? Any comments on the movie? I want to watch it tomorrow just to know what the monster is!!!

yes, they do advance screenings, although now i am unsure if it was today or tomorrow. Anyways, any guesses?

Well, as a guy who saw the screening put it..
"The monster looks a little amphibian, obviously being from the ocean. It's jaw is a mix between a snapping turtle and closes like an alligators. Also opens sideways. It has small beady eyes with eye lids that blink at an angle, diagonally. On the sides of it's head it has clear sacs that resemble a jellyfish which I assume allows it to breathe out of the water. It walks on 2 legs and also on four it seemed on one scene. It's arms are skinny with 3 fingers. It's "elbows" bend backwards, looks like that one scene in the Exorcist where the girl walks down the stairs. Pretty creepy looking thing.


Smaller Ones:
Parasites (or babies, who knows) drop off of the monster and turn into spider/crocodile things. They are FAST and MEAN.

They're kind of hard to see in the movie since they move/attack so fast, but they have really long snouts and move with multiple arms like a spider. They can hang from the ceiling and their bite as poisionous."

so a t-rex, jellyfish, and an alligator had a retarded baby and it got mad and knocked stuff over, and now for some reason giant carnivorous plankton fall off it and eat people...........

sounds like a comedy.

I know places do screenings, but this movie wasnt supposed to, hence all the unknown from the start.

it can die and it does. The tunnel scene shows the babies or whatever comes off of it.

they made the movie like this because of the internet. so go see it and you'll find out.

all these teens screaming "OMG OMG OMG" in that cliche overtone, that alone puts me off. Seems to me a bit overproduced to appeal to the younger masses. probably not worth a rewatch but would seem like a good one time cheap thriller
