Cloverleaf food, any good?

Does anyone use these pellets or can tell me if they're any good? I had some credit to use so thought I'd try them out for my firemouth tank. At the moment I'm feeding hikari cichlid gold along with tetra colour crisps, these will be replacing the hikari when they're finished, I also plan on getting some NLS red pellets

Well...not something I'd feed to my fish. But neither is Hikari or Tetra foods, so...lol.

Honestly I would not use it. Two of the top five ingredients are wheat, a terrestrial plant.

Curious as to why you don’t like Hikari? I feed most of my fish their sinking pellets.

Oh no, what would you recommend for meeki?

They also get hikari algae wafers and fresh vegetables mostly for the bristlesnose and swordtails in with them but the meeki love the wafers and often have a nibble at the veg

I would suggest New Life Spectrum AlgaeMax


Comes in many sizes. Typically not sold in stores, I get mine from Amazon.

Ingredients are junk. Much better foods easily available out there.

My two staple brands are NLS and Northfin. I am also a fan of Repashy. And Bug Bites for omnivore/carnivore species.

Thanks for the info guys I'll get myself some NLS red and NLS algae wafers. Not sure what to do with my current pellets and wafers, guess I'll feed them along with the NLS until they're gone
