I was at a lfs today when I saw some catfish labeled as "Clown Catfish" They looked like Bullheads but with a blotchy appearence. Are these hybrids or are they just normal catfish with baby patterns that the store/vendor decided to call it?

It had a similiar pattern...a bit more faded and the head was definitely like a North American Catfish like a Bullhead.
