My mom downsized her sw fish, and tank. and kept only a male + female pair of clown fish and put them in a 10gallon tank.

they are orange with 3 white stripes, don't know what type they are either sorry :(.

But any way, she thinks they had eggs behind a piece of live rock in the corner of the tank, they laid the eggs on the sand, so all i can tell from looking at it is that they look like the size of a grain of sand, and they are red/orange.

So it looks like a mass of white sand than a patch of red sand is what it looks like, But we don't have red sand in the tank :(. I cant get a pic because the light bulb broke.

She says every now and then the male will go over there and wag his fins for a couple seconds than will swim back towards the female.

so I guess we will have to wait and see, unless i go to petsmart and grab a bulb.

I found a light under my 360gallon stand.
Here are some horrible pics.

In the first pic, there are more eggs in the dark spot, and they go back all the way to the end of the photo.

can anyone tell me if these are eggs? and what should I do to raise the fry if they are?

THose are Clownfish Eggs. The look like them sothey must be. Anyway back to the point. CONGRATS. The Fry are VERY small, should be removed from the tank, and fed Infurisia Bay Brine Shrimp and Plankton.

ty, there are hermit crabs in the tank, will they eat them?

and they male seems to have put sand over them because now there are about 1/2 the ammount. and the sand is all piled up.

woots.

Do you think i should remove the hermit crabs, theres also a starfish that looks like a octapus ( spelling ) in there.

And what about the male putting sand over the eggs? is that normal :(.
