i currently have three and im probably going to be getting six more i have them in a 200gal tank with some other fish but was wondering how fats do they grow they eat very well and are constantly digging for food or seem to.

Mine always grew well on blood worms, mysis, brine, waffers of all sorts, etc. But, when I started feeding the red wriggler earthworms, they exploded in size, color, and activity.

Clowns are slow grower. They grow 1-3" per year especially once they reach 6"+. Food and regular water change also helps.

1-3" a year don’t seem bad would you happen to know about Chinese high fin banded sharks i have two in the same tank are they slow growers as well im looking to put maybe one or two more of them in their.

:iagree: also live black worms.....can get them to 6" fairly quickly for a cl.
I buy mine around 3"-4" and can get close to about 6" in a year...then growth seems to slow down

I have had good luck getting them to 4" in a year, they seem to grow much more slowly after that. You might have better growth in a 200 gal tank with a high protein diet that is considerably varied mixed with some good quality pellet food and/or flakes.

I'm not sure about the chinese banded shark as I never have one. Someone told me that they are also grow very slow.

1-2" clown loaches grows faster but not as fast as other an average fish. Once they get to 4-6" the growth rate slows down and even slower as they grow. I have a 3x 9" clown loaches that are 12+ years old.
