clown hiding

i bought 2 clowns 5 days ago one is starting to stay on bottom hiding behind a rock is this normal for clowns because the other clown stays out

what kind of clown? i had a pink skunk stay in the rocks for a week before he came out.
you may also have 2 males or 2 females and depending on your tank size they may be fighting.
