One of my clowns tail has been seriously nipped i have added salt appears to be breathing heavy any feedback.

Did you dissolve the salt? Just for future reference, there is no need for you to dose with salt or medicines for minor injuries such as tattered fins. Do plenty of water changes. Clean water will basically help it recover.

The cause is unknown at this time i had just introduced him to the tank .All the other loaches are fine ,he is hanging in there outside the shoal not eating. the top tip of his tail is gone not sure if a loach would do that much damage ,but he is in my 240g with some dubius fish.
