Clown knife and Afer?

Hi I am wondering if I could keep a clown knife in an 84"x30" tank? and if so would it be ok with an about 8"-10" afer?

Afer is very agressive, mainly at night, to like bodied fish.

So would that be a no? And would I be able to keep it with polypterus?

It might work,how big is the CK? I have had afers tear smaller fish up at night but with bigger fish they seem to get along and ignore them.I have had afers together in a tank with no problems between them,in fact they would hide together until the lights went out so the two may or may not get along,not sure what to make of the bichir.

The clown knife would be about the same size I don't have the clown knife yet, but have already bought the afer

I have my 6 inch afer with a large bgk, so far all is well.

Best to get the Ck bigger than the afer as if the same size the afrer will harrass the ck. Especially u already got the afer. Afer will usually go after newly introduce knifefish unless it's 2-3x the size.
