there are however ck's with a temper but I can't really see a ray being within the target group.. I think the reason people don't do it more often is because many see ck's as a beginners monster.. if you have "come so far to" or have the money to spend on a ray you can have other more exclusive fish taking up the bioload the ck would have done.. messy post but you see my point.
^^ I"m following you on that. Sort of like when someone goes to the pet store, they see a little clown knife and have to buy it becuase it's cute, then it often goes in a tank to small with the wrong fish. Sort of how the oscar is treated. They are both beautiful fish if cared for properly. But I think I get what your saying.
I think that there was an old post where a ck killed a Ray but as the previous poster said, some ck just seem to have an attitude problem.....I suppose humans are like that, generally nice but there is always some bloke in a pub who drunk too much Stella! (or even the odd dictator)
I have a CK with 2 retics and 1 motoro, no aggression problems whatsoever. The only problem I ever run into with the CK is hes pretty quick and hes a pig. Sometimes he will slurp up all the food before the rays can get to it. Oh well, just another excuse to hand feed the rays lol
