Clown Knife + Angelfish

Hi everyone.

What would the outcome be? The angels are full size or 1-2cm off, and the CK i wanna get will be close to 10cm. The tank is a 6'x2'x2.5' tank.

Comments?

(I don't think the answer for RCK would be much different would it?)

Angels will be food for the CK. And the outcome for an RCK would be the same. African Brown Knife would be a better choice.

BTW this will be short term, as I know for sure that the CK would munch angels for brekky lunch and dinner, this is until the angelfish get out competed for food.

I'd imagin the CK will leave them alone until it got big enough to eat them, which wouldn't take too long

seems like you already know its a temp at most... dont give them a hard life.. choose a better tank mate... the angels i mean. theyll be ****ting as soon as they eat lol.

The Angels won't get out competed for food. Angels will probably be the first to get to the food, but like dbcb314 said, it'll probably be fine until the day the CK feels that he's big enough to take an Angel down.

Its not the ck i'm worried about

1 Feed your clowns 3 times a day to keep down aggression.
2 Watch your angels close for scale loss.
3 Pray

I do this frequently with my small knives. I move them when they are about 6 inches or if they start to show agression sooner. The angels are good for training the knives to take pellets and prepared foods.
