Clown knife approximate growth rate?

I have a 12" clown knife I adopted from a local pet shop and I have him on my 155 gallon aggressive community cichlid tank and I was wondering how fast they grow so I can kinda guess how old this guy is. He is really awesome and has tons of personality

Some can vary on growth rates. Usually, CKs will hit that 1' mark at around a year, give or take. They tend to average 1" per month, but growth slows down as they grow larger.

I would second the 1" per month. Mine has grown around 1.5-2" in 2months since I got him.

Around 12" they will slow down in growth. This largly is effected by how much and how frequent you feed.

Generaly a 12" knifefish will grow 0.5" a month. Roughly.
