this few days my clownknife seem to be acting strange ,they seem to like push each other and i was thing if they are doing something 'fishy' :naughty: i havent seen or read anything about clownknifes breeding here so i was wondering if anyone have any info about them

Yes - a few members have posted about breeding them, but nothing off the top of my head comes to mind. They can help you more.

They are pond bred naturally in Asia. Naturally as in no hormones required. Most fish farms drive in wooden posts as they prefer to lay eggs on vertical surfaces. Oh and they are extremely defensive too! If you put a few into a healthy deep pond and fattened they should be straightforward to breed. If you want more breeding info I would search some aquaculture databases since they are used as a food fish.

I think my royal and clown are breeding. They are splashing all over the place...and at night something in that tank is making a groaning noise....could it be these two?

Uhm, sometimes catfish can make something similar to a "groaning" noise, I don't think you can hear it out of the tank thouh, i think. :screwy:
