Hi, I haven't posted here in quite a while; the last time I did I picked up a 13 inch golden CK from a death row tank and my lfs. First off he made a full recovery and it's a beautiful fish, but, it doesn't play nice with my other silver CK. right now I have a 210 gallon with a plexiglas separator in the middle. My worries are that if they're not separated the golden will kill my silver seeing how much they've fought before. The silver isn't aggressive at all, just the golden. Because of this I've been wanting to find a new home for my golden and start with a new direction with the tank. I know my silver isn't aggressive.
but I still have to ask about this setup; What I want is the silver with a few large angel fish and maybe 2 or 3 redhook silver dollars. Do you guys think that could be comparable?

Well...aggression wouldn't be a problem, but I be more concern about it's predatory instincts. It could work for awhile. Some people actually have had a large CK with Angels, so it's possible. And of course, keeping it well fed helps too.

It might have worked if they grow up together but not sure because he could be pretty aggressive you just dont know it yet.

Some people have had cks with angels. But also my ck ate my angels the same night they got home from the lfs, from a tank they'd been in for weeks with a larger CK. you never know
