Clown knife compatibility

Just bough a 5 inch clown knife to go in my 150g with my bichirs and clown loaches. The loaches are all around 3-6 inches. Should I be worried about the loaches becoming a snack?

Probably not, although the knife will grow much faster than the loaches and could eventually threaten a small one. I don't think too many knifes (aba aba and a couple others being exceptions) would mess with a 6+ inch clown loach. They're pretty tough.

They definitely do. It's like a latch, almost like an arowana. But the loaches should be OK if they're appropriately sized.

If you want Cichlids, try south american ones, peacock bass are good. But, Cichlids don't always work with Clown Knife, they could fight. Clown Knife are quite territorial so if you keep more than one keep 3, that probably stops the attacks.
