clown knife getting picked on?

i have an African knife fish that keeps picking on my clown knife but i thought the African knife fish where supposed to be more peaceful so could i get some input?

could be territorial aggression. how big is your tank bro?

its a 75 but they are both like 3 inches.

could u get a pic of your african knife? there are 2 species of african knives and one is notoriously aggressive.

P. Afer the type with a feather fin on it's back can be agro for sure. But whichever one it is, it's time will come given enough time living with that clown knife.

my smallest knifefish in the tank killed all the bigger ones until only she was left.

Was the ABK already established in the tank before you introduced the CK? If that's the case, it's all about territory. Rearranging decor can help or removing the ABK for a few days. It can also be a dominance issue. One is just trying to establish who's the boss and that will subside in a few days.
