You need at least 30" width to keep a clown knife and for the number of fish you are keeping it with, I'd say get something larger than 200 gallons.
You can probably get away with a 150g (depending on the dimensions). Personally I would go with a 180g just to give a little more room. The width of the tank should be the length of your largest fish. CKs in captivity rarely reach their wild size and they usually are about 20" or under.

ok well i'am not sure of the dementions of the 150g but i do know the 200 gallon i'am getting its 96 in. L by 25 in. W by 20 in. T

Standard 150g is 5x2x2, so a CK would be fine in there since they aren't too active. However, a 180g with that extra 1' makes it more comfortable for the CK.

CKs are pretty mellow for the most part. It depends though...while are a few members with some very territorial CKs that won't share anything with anyone, some will just not tolerate other Knives, and there are those that are always side by side (usually raised at a young age). They can be tough though. I had a CK with some robust Cichlids and it had a lot of battle scars. I currently have them with Polys and Dats.
so a CK with a ray,an aro,5 cats,3 polys,and 3 dats in a 300g should be ok together and what rays are legal in AZ and can fit in a 300g (yes it was 200g i decided to bump it up cuz i got the room)
