Clown knife maybe tail Rot

Hello I noticed that my clown knife and pleco have frayed tails. My water paraments are good and I was wondering is it just ripped or is it tail rot thanks.

I'm no expert and the pics aren't very clear but I don't see anything I'd be overly concerned about for a pleco. I'm kind of wondering what the CK looks like. What else do you have in that tank?

I have a striped Raphael cat a 2-3 inch jack dempesy and just got a 3 inch Florida gar but the frayed fins were before the far so it can't be him is is bad to treat a tank for fin rot even if the fish may not have it?

I wouldn't treat anything right now. I'd isolate the fish that is the problem and I bet it isn't the gar.

Can it be the jack dempesy that bite it or happen after change water. I think it will cure by itself
