Clown Knife Not Eating

RIGHT HERE
I have had a Clown Knife for about 2 weeks now. He is about 4" Long and beutiful. I have not been able to get him to eat yet. He is soooooo skinny.
I have tried Cichlid pellets, flakes, bloodworms, earthworms, cut fish,even feeder rosy's. Nothing he doesnt act interested. I have had ck's in the past and they would eat anything. Any ideas before I loose him?:nilly:
 
Just be patient-he has been itroduced into a new inviroment-When i purchased mine-Also at the 4 inch mark-he didn't eat upward for a month and a half-I almost lost him-But come to find out mine was just interested in live feeding-he wouldn't take to prepared foods-Still hasn;t till this day-Damn LFS-he will eventually eat,shouldn't starve himself to death-as long as one has a constant food supply for him-One should eventually notice some feeders(rosies,cons,jacks,etc,etc-No feeder goldies).Keep us updated-it seems like you have tried the prepared foods as well-I would still give that a go every couple of days-One will want to get them on prepared food rather than live-Once they get on live foods it's hard to get them off-But some have no choice in the matter-
 
Yea...I only try live as last resort. I felt like (as skinny as he is) he won live much longer. What did you finally get them to eat?
 
Have you tried to feed it at night and turn off the lights? That might help it be comfortable enough to eat.

yea try feeding him at night...thats when they are most active and looking for food...check your water quality too...
 
I have a little one, and he seems to be a vegetarian......I tried feeding him all the same food my big CK ate and NOTHING....I was worried he was super skinny.....anyhow, now I find out that he LOVES to eat algae wafers....Im sure he'll eat other stuff but for now....thats his choice.
 
My big one eats shrimp pellets, hikari food sticks, FD shrimp, algae wfers sometimes ( usually when I feed the pleco ) tetramin tablets
