About a month ago i bought a clown knife from my local fish store. He is about 4-5 inches long and he has no spots what so ever. He has the body shape of a clown knife, just no spots. I know it isnt a african knife. Any ideas?

Pics would help, but I'm going to assume that it's just a Spotless CK. There is also Chitala Lopis or even Notopterus Notopterus, but those are a bit harder to find.

Yeah...Spotless CKs are pretty common now a days. I always see at least one every batch at my lfs.

Half the CKs at my LFS were spotless and I think they labeled them as silver clown knifes or something like that to market them.

I agree with the shrimp & tilapia, you might also try black worms.
They seem to love moving things best.

I had my CK living with my cichlids and he learned to eat like a pig from them. He'll eat Hikari pellets, NLS, frozen or freeze dried krill, shrimp, bloodworms and he'll eat nightcrawlers and tilapia. Try putting him with a tankmate that eats like crazy.
