So I got a new clown knife after a devastating accident after the hurricane in NJ. Hes a small little guy, but His Diet is off. As I have read in almost every forum and website, CK's are piscavores. Most eating feeders and whatnot. If its not fish, it would be pellets. Strangely enough my Clown knife will not eat Feeders, Market Shrimp, or any type of worm. As for pellets I can tell he is not a big fan of them as they are NLS (NLS seems to be unsatisfactory when it comes to taste to all my fish for some reason) But one thing is for sure, he will eat Hikari. But there is 1 food that he enjoys more than any of the following.
Crickets. My clown knife likes to eat live crickets. I know it shouldnt be a problem but is this normal? Also Should I be worried that he will soon be hooked on crickets and not eat the pellets? I feel this may be a problem because my clown knife doesnt seem to look down onto the floor. He seems to be always waiting for me to feed my arowana for crickets.
