Clown knife, swim bladder disease

ive decided it could be swim bladder infection or disease.

could this happen in the few days that ive had it?!

how do i treat a clown for this?

please help. i think im running out of time for this guy...

This is exactly what happened on Thursday when i acquired the fish.
5:30pm - bought the fish from Ko'olau pets - windward mall

6:50pm - got home with fish in bag
i layed the bag on my bed and sometime at 7:00pm i passed out and woke up at 2:30am!!!

2:30am - CK was still swimming casually in bag, being tired i totally forgot to acclimate the fish properly and just floated the bag for about 20 minutes without doing the proper bag change and tank water input.

2:50am - like a dumb ****, i emptied the bag out, releasing the knife fish directly into the tank probably sending it into parameter shock and further causing swim bladder disorder a couple days later...

does my story sound plausible??

i HOPE i can get help with this story!! unless the fact is simply, i ****ed up and now this beautiful fish has to pay... aside from wasting my gf's money...
