clown knife??? tank matas

i just got a 7-8 inch clown knife smallest tank mates are 4 inch african pike 4 inch african butterfly two 3 inch pictus catfish i have a 240 gallon coming so well he eat them or am i ok?????????????????????

your tank would be fine but i think that the butterfly is too passive for that tank, with those tankmates that could be semi aggressive.

I would watch out for that pictus if anything. Even if it may not be able to swallow it because of how they stick out their hard fins when their threatened the clown may try it and kill the pictus in the process.

Well, if you really dont want to take any chances with your Pike getting killed, then i wouldnt. You would have to watch out for the night time when the clowns are active and go on the hunt and catch other fish when their off guard.
