Clown knife tank mates?

Can anyone recommend tankmates for a clown knife? Preferably tankmates that won’t get quite as big as him but still get 9”+

Some firemouths, rams or acaras will be good choices. Not too aggressive and pick on the clowns. What are u interested in?

I was thinking more like peaceful fish like Bala Sharks. Or even some similar size predators

Sorry i was thinking clown loaches. Lol!

Probably some pbass, sleeper gobies, polypterus, vulture catfish etc.

With my clown knife I have peacock bass, distichodus atroventralis, flagtail prochilodus, fire eel and pikes.

Red tail catfish...
These two get along very well.
If you don't want something that big..Bala shark. No Oscars! My Oscar is very mean to my Clown Knife.

I put Nami Green Aro in my Chitala community. And only one Gold Ornata seems to have a problem.
With sufficient hideout you can mate Indochina Chitala up most to everything. No idea for the Indian one.
