Clown knife Vs. Senegal Bichir

Hey I have two senegals one 16cm and the other is 18cm and they have nice bellies on them. A guy has a Clown knife up for sale 25-30cm and i'm keen as but only concern is that he'll eat my senegals? What are the chances of this happening as I have a flagtail, NTT datnoid, clown loachs and raphael cats in there aswell? All help would be much appreciated as these dont come up often in aus.

I have 23 inches clown knife with 8-13 inches senegal bichirs. Just make both fish can get their share for food.

nope, ck was already at 18" at the time.

mine seem fine with each other. most of my bottom dwelling fishes are ignored.

Depends on how the CK was treated. If it was fed mainly live, I'd be wary about the purchase.

this post just really help me out cause i have to baby clowns and i wanted to get some Senegal Bichir for a while now but wasnt sure i have both clown eatting pellets so thanks for posting this

When my was around 5 inches he ate an Odoe Pike the same size. Depends on the fish I guess.
