clown knife with rays?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I didn't trust mine. Started charging the rays @ feeding time. Bit one. Knife was close to twenty inches. Rays were a foot across average. This knife was also raised as a loaner on feeders so I think its temperment left a little to be desired.

They tend to be jerks at night time.. I wouldnt trust one, but have no personal experience (and probably never will ;) )

Agreed.

i have done it with a 18" ck, have done it for the last 2 years. No problems at all, but by ck was on pellets since he was 4" long. I just recently seperated him, not becasue of aggression but becasue i wanted a change.

i'll have to think about this one. it seems like its not suggested, yet both of my previous 18" ck's never bothered a soul, big or small, unless they could eat it. perhaps it was because they never ate live and were raised with tankmates. my third ck, which was sold at 7", was raised alone, and seemed to be a little bit more testy when placed with tankmates.

I have have 2 CK, one 60 Cm and a 35 Cm or so, and I have 4 Rays and I dont have any problems, But it may just come down to the size of the tank and the individual personality.
