Both eyes are swollen.
It was fine a few days ago, no changes were made to the tank except for a water change.
I’ve been leaving the light on for a almost all day, started also from a few days ago, maybe that’s the problem? Too much light?

Can u post ur current water parameters. Would add some salt 1 tsp per gallon. If not reduced in 24hrs then move the fish to a qt tank and add some maracyn2.

Definitely not light. The worst "too much light" can do is cause an algae bloom. Definitely something wrong with the water.

I second kno4te's suggestions.

I had a molly with this basically clean water and salt

I had a really horrific case of it a long time ago. My filter broke while I was away on vacation in Cuba. Not knowing this, I came back that evening to find my tank almost completely wiped out.

My female Kribensis was one of my few survivors, and she had a really bad case of popeye. By next morning, the eyes actually popped out and just dangled from the sockets. She died not long after, and that was my only experience with pop-eye.
