Clown knife won't eat

i bought a 2ft albino clown knife about 6 weeks ago.

It has still not eaten! Tried pellets, prawns muscles which it was eating before with previous owner.

Tank mates are Ray's and tin foil barbs...again the same as previous owner.

Tank is 8x3.

Any ideas?

Did you see it eat those food items with the previous owner?

Try a couple live items such as live ghost shrimp to revamp appetite

Put the food in at night in the pitch dark.

I picked up a 2ft clown knife about 6 weeks ago as well and he hardly eats i think big fish can take a while to settle. He does munch massivore just not alot of it.

Big fish can sulk for a while, they don't need to feed every day. Mine settled into my wifes tank by eating some of her smallest fish.
