clown knifefish growth rate?

Does a clown knife fish grow fast enought to be put with a rtc x tns hybrid?

Also any recomendations on any other knife that get big enough and grow fast enough to be kept with a RTCxTNS hybrid would be great

Clown Knives grows pretty fast for me. They usually grow about 1"/month.

mine grew to 3 feet in 3 years...but i put them in a pond with a lot of feeders....i u want them to grow even faster then train them to eat prepared food (market shrimp) or pellets ASAP! then u can feed them even more than i cud! plus it will make life MUCH easier for u in the future!

yea that combo would work, depending on the size of your cat? and i agree, teach them to take pellets

well my RTCxTNS is only about 3" now and there is 4-5" CKF at the LFS im eyeing up

He has been at the LFS for quite a while and they r feeding him live fod how hard would it be to get him to eat pellets and prepared food

Tell that to my ck I bought him 6 months ago when he was about 5" and now he's 7". But I don't mind that he's grows slowly. But it would be nice with a big ck.

This is an old thread, lol! I admit that the last couple of CKs I've had hasn't grown as well as the ones in the past. I currently have one that I got 4 months ago and it's only grown 2"
