clown loach barbel

today i picked up two clown loaches both being oddballs there are both just nearly an inch smallest ive ever seen and i noticed on one that his barbels are missing now will these grow back or will they not or has he not developed them yet

They are small at that size, but if if was kept in rough substrate they may be warn away.

yeh they are small the other one has them they are being kept in sand right now but who knows what they were kept in before

ok ill try im hoping these guys make it got two more they can go with when they get bigger were eating a few bloodworms 45 minutes after i put them in

Looks like the barbels have worn away. Keeping them in sand may reverse the trend.

yeh the one has some nice barbels growing on him and the other one u can barely see the barbels but i think there there....as for the big ones they got some nice barbels
