Clown Loach Behavior II

My clowns are doing something that looks like kissing? Then they move along side each other and do some sort of boogie dance. I can't see any eggs being deposited, but I don't know what to look for. Is this possibly a mating ritual, and does anyone know what clowns do to mate?

But refer to the top sentance, they do not reach sexual maturity at under 7" long.

it is probable that thet are just behavibg differently than i expect...

they are only about 2"but are very healthy and their coloration is perfect... I will say though that conditions are exatcly the same as decribed

its impossible for them to breed at that size

Clown loaches are weird and the more you have the odder they get.

Haven't seen that behavior since. It was very intersting though.
