Clown Loach Feeding Frenzy

Thanks :) I'm feeding them a chunk of frozen blood worms there. They go similarly ape for just about anything - I am always surprised at how aggressively they feed for such shy fish. And yes that's a black shark, he's getting a bit big for his britches, as they are apt to do. They are all in a 50gl right now and it's kinda crowded (7 growing loaches, a 5-6" angelicus and a 8" Black shark). I need to relocate them to my new house, and in the process I'd like to move them into a 125 or something and add some more loaches and a fancy pleco.

yeah they do look a bit crowded but at least you plan on moving em to a bigger tank.

amazing video btw

The only reason they are in the 50gl right now is I had to do some shuffling. I'm in the midst of relocating - they were in my 200gl tank with some others but I needed that tank for my Aro. They have actually put on some size since they've been in the 50, and they seem pretty happy, so I'm not worried about the minor crowding. As I said I'd like to have a 125 or maybe even bigger in my living room in the new place with my small fish in it, so these guys plus maybe 10 more loaches. The BS will need to go in with my larger fish eventually but right now he's way too small to go in my 600.

i too have a few different loaches that seem fatter that normal they have been like this for a while. It is not a loach only tank however. It is a 55g community tank. Will other fish mess with them if I do a water change to get them to spawn?
