just out of curiousity, do clown loaches ever get scare of other fishes? bc i remember when I was young n i had a jardini with a clown loach, the jar would actual bite the clown but the clown would still come out n play, not intimidated at all.

They tend to feel insecured in my experience if I do not keep them in at least four in number especially when they are housed with fish larger than themselves but as time goes, they become more used to such environment and fend for themselves without feeling uncomfortable to their surroundings anymore.
i have 1 clown loach..hes the bravest and toughest in my tank and i got agressive fish..when he gets pushed away or even bitten he will try to bite and push back..for some reason hes okay by himself but im getting more later but ya my loach is a tough fish
