Well, I picked up 2 oddball CL's a few weeks ago & they've been doing pretty good, but one of them definitely has worms in his gut. He hasnt gained any weight & is getting very lethargic. He wouldn't eat lately so I've started a deworming food schedule to get rid of the IP's.

All the others are eating my homemade medicated food, but he still wont eat. He just lays there next to it like he's saving it for later, but the rest of the shoal just steals it from him. I dont have a Q-tank to put him in right now, so what can I do to get him eating? I'd hate to see him starve to death in a tank that gets fed 3 times a day...

Maybe try soaking some bloodworms in garlic

I guess my post here got deleted by server transfer. I'll have to recall what I actually posted.

For loaches with skinny issues, there is an option to use levamisole hydrochloride, fenbendazole or flubendazole if the problem persists. All those medicines are effective against internal parasites that may likely be causing this issue. Levamisole hydrochloride can be used in the main tank as it does not interrupt with the beneficial bacteria colony.

As for garlic, you can buy one by Kent. Add 3 drops on the food.

Update: Well, the little guy didnt make it. I just found him in the corner. Thanks all for your help. I just didnt quite catch it in time...
