In a box of Pop Tarts!
I have 2 clown loaches in a 220. I have never had any before so I don't really have much reference on this. Do clown loaches breath fairly fast or should I be concerned. I also came in to day and see that 1 of them was lying on its side. Help!! is this normal or do I need to pull these guys out?:(

Apparently they lay on their side for no reason. They are probably fine.

If they are breathing fast, that usually means oxygen starvation. Check for Ammonia and Nitrite, and add some aeration.

they're also probably a bit nervous. Just two in a 220? They like to be in little packs or schoals. At least 5 is a number I would start off with. In a 220 I'd make it 10 even more.

one of my loaches always sleeps on a rock on it's side. It freaked me out the first time cause it looked dead so i poked it with a net and it swam away. It's totally normal so don't worry

Yea laying on their sides is normal and get more water movement and loaches. 2 in a 220 is too few.
