Ok…
I have a question about my Clown Loaches. Right know they are in my 30 gallon Hex along with other fish. One Clown Loach is 4 inches and the other is 3 inches.

I have a 90 gallon tank that has the following:

1 Electric Blue Jack Dempsey (about 5 inches)
1 Bala shark (about 8 or 9 inches)
4 groumies
1 Sailfin Pl*co (about 10 inches)
2 Striped Ralphia Catfish
2 Bolivian Rams
1 Golden Ram
6 Rainbow sharks (all about 5 inches)

Is it possible to put the loaches in the 90 gallon or will the sharks bother them to death? I see all these pics with loaches along with aggressive fish. What do you guys and gals think? If they die my wife will shoot me.

Don

I do not see a problem. I keep my CL’s with a Oscar, Red tail shark, Tin foil’s, Sev, and I also have a 5” EBJD. No problems at all.

They prefer to live in groups. ^_^

Correct. Keep 5 minimum and a 75g offers a good start. Upgrade as they grow.

dhgyello04, keep only one rainbow shark and rehome the pleco so you can keep clown loaches. Six is too many especially as these are rather territorial and may harass other bottom dwellers constantly.
