I have a clown loach and I'm pretty new to fish keeping, so also new with injuries. Below his mouth is really red with blood and seems to be spreading and has small bubbles on his body.

Could he have just injured himself or something with the water or tank? I'm pretty sure he was not attacked.

He also seems to just be trying to swim straight up. Does he sound like he has much longer?

I looked around a minute elsewhere on the forum about info, but could not find any right away. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

pics are a must when dealing with injuries!

Here are some pics, they are kinda blurry, he was moving a lot. Though taking pics of fish that I'm now realizing. You can clearly see the red on him though.

blood clotting problem?

umm im not sure what the solution would be but the cause would be a lack of platelets in the blood and then when he cut himself it started to bleed. If this is the problem he will most likely bleed to death =(

Im thinking it was a rare blood clotting disorder
