clown loach laying there

I got a clown loach 2 weeks ago. he was eating fine and stomach getting full. recently he's being laying in front of the tank, when the other clown loaches swim together he just lays there and doesn't follow them. also during feeding time he shows no interest. he still looks fine too. he just lays there day in and day out. I recently used metro and prazi for deworming a week ago.

Did you medicate them in the main tank or a seperate tank? Was he acting strange before the meds or after?

Clown loaches play dead every so often. I almost flushed one that had been laying motionless until I tired to net him he then darted.

I got a loach too that spends at least 50% of his day playing dead..laziest alltime loach.lol..i can knock on the glass & he doesn't even care.lol...that could be what's going on with the op's loach

playing dead is the norm, but playing dead wouldn't answer why the lack in interest in food.

**UPDATE**

Hes no longer playing dead, shows interest in food but doesn't seem to swallow the pellets. so basically completely normal but doesn't swallow the pellets
