A few weeks back I grabbed some new rocks out of the creek behind the house and my clown loaches have grown very fond of one of them. They will just congregate around it, multiple loaches sitting on it at one time and when they lay down they will lay down on each side of the rock with their bellies against the rock. They always get up and beg for food when I'm close so it's hard to get a good pic but this is what it looks like. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Rock on? :headbang2

In all seriousness, loaches have big personalities. They might like the rock or they might like how the current flows going over the rock or maybe they just like that spot in the tank and the rock happens to be there. Or maybe THAT rock makes them feel safe, it's their new pet rock ;)

I have wondered why so many people love these kind of fish so much. Do they all have really good personalities like this cause they are cool looking but not anything super special. Or am I just missing something, either way nice fish

The rock is kind of square shaped. Last night 3 were sitting on top and each side of the rock had a clown loach laying on the sand next to the rock with their belly against it. I tried to grab the camera but they moved when they saw me. It was wild.
