Clown loach tank mate suggestions

I am going to be getting a school of 12-15 small clown loaches and I will be growing them out in my 90 gallon. What are some good tank mate suggestions that will not outgrow the 90? Since the loaches grow so slowly I am expecting to upgrade to a 6 ft tank within 3 years or so.

I've always liked loaches with large cichlids like Jack Dempseys and such. The jd provides blue and green to compliment the orange in the clown loaches.

In a 90 gallon I would do loaches and discus. Both require clean water, the loaches won't bother the discus and imo 2 of the most beautiful freshwater fish you can get.

I've kept clown loaches before, but the frailty of discus scares me. Sounds pretty sweet though. I may do some angelfish and another schooling fish.
