Clown loach versus Melafix

In moving fish around last week, one of my large Urau's is in need of treatment.. The tank he's in also is loaded with my clown loach shoal. I'm unable to Isolate the Uauru at this time... What if any reaction will the Clown Loaches have if I medicate the tank with melafix for about a week....Feedback appreciated.......

Melafix is fine for loaches, but add extra aeration.

Doing plenty of water changes is a better approach than to add Melafix in my opinion.
