Yep, I would watch them to make sure there aren't any aggression issues and to make sure that everyone gets fed but many people have that combination without issues.

I have had my loaches with just about all cichlids. even the super aggro cichlids seem to leave them alone...I could just be lucky though.

Agreed. Clown loaches can go with just about anything that isn't big enough to swallow them

The reason clown loaches can go with anything is because of their eyetooth. Sharp as a razor and cichlids learn fast to leave the clown loach alone. Incidently clown loaches love to be with their own kind.
