Just bought 3 Clown Loaches for my 75 gal. I also have a rainbow shark and 5 bloodfin tetras. Loaches are cool but they are swimming up and down one specific side of the glass non stop. Is this normal

P.S planning to get more

its normal, they are very active and all have different characteristics but when in schools they do that swimming up n down in that same spot consistently..is normal

Look for other species of loaches, not just clowns.;)

ok good
79 is a good temp right?
and 7.2 ph?
That's fine.

yeah thats normal.. theyll do that when there new to a tank or when you move stuff around in your tank.. after a while you see that theyll be constantly swimming all over the whole tank.. really fun to watch pairs or groups of 3 swimming together.. kind of remind me of dolphins

Thanks guys
I was a little worried because they were doing that for like a half hour and there was food in the tank the whole time. Just saw that they found it the food and quickly ate it all. So every things good now.
thanks again

sorry guys
one more question
could I keep one green terror(fake one with the orange on tail) with like 5 clown loaches in that 75 gal if i put those fish in a different tank?
