Clown loaches and...???

I have a 150 gal tank with 9 clown loaches, two large oscars and a royal knife.

All are well but I intend to move the royal knife and oscars to another tank.

Looking for some good tank mates with the clowns. Wanted fish in the mid - high level of the tank.

Was thinking of some peacock cichlids but see mixed opinions.

Any recommendations?

I have seen a lot of people keep bala sharks with clowns... a plus on those is that they are from the same area.

I have clowns in my Malawi tank and don't have any issues, in fact I plan on adding more in the near future.

I have a 180 with 13 loaches ranging from 3' to 9" and a couple of 6" severums with them. No problems here.

I keep my clowns with africans and americans with no problems.

I have clown loaches with bala, akf, and plecos.

I keep them with a RTG arowana with no issues so far
