Clown Loaches as tankmates?

Anyone keep cl's with their arows? I'm tempted to put maybe 4 4-5" with mine. My arow has attacked and killed goldfish maybe 1/4th the size of himself so I'm not sure.

Clown loaches are faster than goldfish. Just get larger ones.

my JArdini lives with 7 clown loaches- Just have to provde them with some cover and hiding places such as wood in the bottom.

I personally wouldn't recommend it but plenty of people do keep them together so it's up to you. But is your aro does catch and devour your cl there's a good chance the loaches dorsal spine could cause some pretty sereous internal damage. I've heard storys or fish getting cl's lodged in their throats and they either choke to deth or the handler has had to do some sergary. They have rather large dorsal spines as well as pectoral... just my thoughts but I'd pick a bottom dweller less likely to fit into the aros mouth IMO

I've got my black aro in with 15 loaches (not all clowns) Have yet to have any problems. When one of the loaches does steal her market shrimp she hunts them down and takes the shrimp.
