So i noticed coming home my clown loaches are constantly "lip locking" and are hitting each other with their tails like cichlids would when fighting or flaring at each other. I never seen this behavior with clown loaches and wonder has anyone else ever had this happen? Like there sucking at each others lips and i know it probably isnt breeding because supposedly its never been done and proven yet in home aquariums.

Yea 2 is no good man. Minimum of 5. Just pick up a couple of cheap little ones and you won't have any more aggression problems

i have a group of 11 smaller set of 5 are about 6" then 4 at 8" and 2 at 10" and my 2 biggest do this to the point they have sores on their sides but its only once a month or so but no biggie dont worry about it but yes try for a larger group, they will be happier...so will you cause youll enjoy watching them school!!
