So in the past 2 days I've had 3 of my loaches die , they have been in my tank and perfectly fine for 6-7 months with no issues and always on the move and swimming but the last 2 days they seem to stay on the bottom or hide and then one will be out in the open and on it's Side breathing heavy and is dead by the time I get home from work

I haven't done anything different or out of the ordinary, no new fish have been added , I just dont get it .... Current stock besides the loaches is 2 tiger oscars and a fire eel that are In good health and no issues

I don't have a test kit to check the water but I don't see where that could be the issue being that the other fish are fine

Test the water they could be the weakest going first.

More info needed.

Tank Specs? Size, filters used, how long been setup, etc.
Water Params? (Get that test kit asap, preferably a liquid text kit)
Temp?

Tank is a 150 gallon 72x18x27 .... Running two ac110 and an Eheim 2213 (FX5 on the way) temp 80-81 ...tank has been up and running for a year
This is the first real issue I've had with this tank ... Other fish still seem fine Btw

Well. My next question would be water params and did you notice any physical changes in the deceased? White dots? Skinny? etc.

Well I plan to get a test kit tomorrow , but as far as physical signs there were none , all were good and fat no marks or anything like that

The only thing I can think of is that maybe one or both of my oscars could have maybe harassed them and stressed them ? Cause like I said everyone else in the tank is fine and begging for food ( didn't feed today and did a 50% water change monday and about the same today )
