Hi how fast do clown loaches grow?

they usually go from 1-4" pretty quickly and slow down after that. it also depends on tank size, clean water and diet. one of my CLs ive had for 2 years. bought it at 1" and now its 4"

I agree, after 4" they slow down considerably, but a good varied diet helps.

Like what kinds of diet?

variety. snails, algae waffers, protein rich foods, cichlid pellets. feed something different. i feed all my fish about 9 different foods

I highly recommend mussels on the half shell, that is loach power food. I also like to cut open large smelt and extract the eggs. That's a great loach food too. I also feed:

Brine Shrimp, Krill, Bloodworms, Mysis, Veggies, Omega one flakes, Sinking Carnivore, Massivore, Algae tabs, shrimp pellets, etc.
