Just thought I'd get a consensus from other clown loach owners. What do you prefer and why? Here is a couple vids when I place floaters in. It's visually more pleasing and cleaner method in my opinion in a populated tank.

I have to use sinking pellets and wafers just to make sure my CL's get something to eat. I'll toss floating pellets in one side of the tank to distract the other inhabitants and then drop the sinking food in the other end for the loaches.

Mine love algae wafers. They'll steal a whole chunk from my Pleco and swim away as fast as they can. LOL

This is a great idea. Would love to utilize but the other inhabitants are not big eaters. So, they stay afloat long enough for loaches to go up and get theirs.

My loaches do fine with both floating and sinking pellets. I don't really have a preference. Mine fight for food with my Vieja and do just fine when I feed floating lol

My 30+ clowns eat freezes dried tubefix worms blood worms krill on top, sinking pellets and freeze dried earthworm on the bottom and zucchini attached on the side of the tank.
