Anubias, Java moss, Java ferns, hornworts, Egeria densa, Pistia stratiotes, duckweeds (you'll be lucky if they reproduce quicker than the clown loaches can eat as most people regarded them as "pests")
Bought 2 nice bunches w/many runners on them Tues. By Thurs. night, the Loaches hed eaten the runners, then started from the tops down and ate them almost to the substrate. They will nibble on my Crypts, but aren't really fond of them since the introduction of the Vals.
One way of getting to Loaches some veggies I guess....
Javas and Anubias hold up well. They do like the new root growth on the anubias. So when getting them to attach to rocks, I place a little gravel over them until they take hold.
clown loaches dont usually eat the plants , they just destroy them for fun. Especially the larger clown loaches, I no longer keep plants in my clown loach tank, because they all get uprooted or the stems get bitten in half.
Small loaches should be ok w. plants, but i have several 8"+ that love to screw w. me.
